In the Hakone area, bus routes are marked with a system of alphabetical symbols and different line colors. They’re very simple to use, even if you’re never used them before. Bus destination and system are indicated on the display panels located on the front and sides of each bus. Please check this information carefully before boarding.

At each bus stop, signs indicate the route number and route name of every bus passing by that stop.

All routes in the Hakone area (including the Odawara & Gotemba districts) are posted.
